AMBASSADOR MOHAMMED DANSANTA RIMI

His Excellency Ambassador Dansanta Rimi started his primary education at the Rimi Junior Primary school from 1959-1962 and then proceeded to the Dutsinma Senior Primary School to complete his Primary School education. From there Ambassador Rimi resumed his Secondary School education at the St. Paul’s College Zaria in 1965 before moving to Government College Katsina to continue his education in 1966. The Ambassador completed his Higher School certificate education at Government College Kaduna in 1972. Ambassador Rimi proceeded to the prestigious Ahmad University, Zaria in Nigeria, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from 1973-1976. He returned to the University in 1977 to obtain a master’s degree in Business Administration, which he completed in 1979. Below is a summary of his education background:

His Excellency has worked at various capacities in different agencies and Government offices. He started work in the Kaduna State Government as an Economics Planning Officer from 1977 – 1979, and then proceeded to the New Nigeria Development Company Ltd Kaduna where he worked as an Investment Executive/ Senior Investment Executive from 1979 – 1982. Ambassador Rimi then moved to the Arewa Hotels Limited Kaduna where he served in the capacity of Managing Director from 1983 – 1984, and moved to the Nigeria Security Printing and Minting Company Limited in Lagos where he served as the Director Personnel/ Administration from 1984 – 1988. From there, His Excellency worked at the Scan African Nig. Ltd. Lagos as Deputy Managing Director from 1989 – 1994 and continued to HNB Securities and Protective Company Ltd. Kaduna from 1995 – 1998 where he served as the pioneer Managing Director. Ambassador Rimi then went on to serve at Synektiks Limited Kaduna as Managing Director in 1998.
